Correction: Obama to send 30,000 troops to afghanistan – Click here for FULL VIDEO of his address to the nation

US President Barack Obama will be sending an additional 34,000 U.S. troops to Afghanistan. It isn’t the 40,000 that General Stanley A. McChrystal requested, but Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell says there would be an expectation that NATO allies would also commit some forces.

How come the Afghan war is starting to have similarities to the Vietnam war?

Judge Andrew Napolitano interviewed Ron Paul on Fox News’ Freedom Watch with Judge Napolitano on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 and explains why he stated in an upcoming article in Forbes magazine, “Be prepared for the worst. The large scale government intervention in the economy is going to end badly.”

On a totally unrelated note, towards the end of the video, Judge Napolitano asks Ron Paul if he’s going to run for President in 2012, but Ron Paul says it’s too far off and it’s not something he’s giving serious consideration right now.

Ron Paul 2012 has a nice ring to it. I think it would bring a lot to the debates if he was involved. If only the media would give him equal time that they give the other “candidates”.
