Michael Moore talks about the auto bailout on MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann last night (Dec.3,2008).
Michael Moore gives his opinion on what congress should do about the Big 3 Automakers and the auto bailout. At one point Moore asks this question in regards to GM, “Why should we give them $18 Billion when they are only worth $3 Billion?”
My question would be, “Why give them $18 Billion, even if they were worth $18 Billion?” Just to throw it into The Money Hole?
Watch the Video:
The Big Three Automakers had their CEOs make their pitch for $34 Billion today (Dec.4, 2008) and that the auto industry is in a crisis. You just need to read Naomi Klein’s book “The Shock Doctrine” to understand how they use crises for profit. We’ll see how long it takes congress to hand over the “bailout” cash.
