Rachel Maddow of MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” talks about the TV interview where Vice President Dick Cheney admits to War Crimes. Specifically authorizing waterboarding and other harsh interrogation tactics.
Maddow also reminds us about the Tokyo trials after WWII, when an international coalition which included the U.S.A. prosecuted Japanese officials and military personal accused of war crimes including water boarding. A number of those found guilty of using waterboarding were sentenced to death, hanged for waterboarding.
Rachel Maddow then speaks to Ron Suskind, author of The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism, about Dick Cheney and the war crimes.
