The WMD Commission warned today (Wednesday, Dec.3, 2008), that an attack using weapons of mass destruction is likely by 2013 some place in the World and that attack will most likely be a Biological Attack.
Former Sen. Bob Graham of the WMD Commission stated, “…that it is more likely than not, that a weapon of mass destruction will be used some place in the world, prior to the end of 2013. We also found that it was more likely that that weapon would be biological than nuclear.”
Former Sen. Jim Talent of the WMD Commission added, “The terrorists are organizationally sophisticated enough to get either the nuclear or bio-weapons, but the bio-weapon would be even easier to get and even weaponize…”. Talent then goes on to say, “We should focus on Pakistan…” and references to recent Mumbai attacks.
