The original $700 billion dollar bailout bill was a mere 3 pages when it was first put together. We saw the House of Representatives defeat the bailout bill on Monday. Last night the Senate passed a new bailout bill which has swelled to 450+ pages, with tons of earmarks. Barack Obama voted FOR the bill as did Mr.Anti-earmarks John McCain. The bill is now approximately worth about $850 Billion.

The bill is being planned to go before the House of Representatives once again for a vote on Friday, and the way Washington works it seems the pork barrel earmarks added may just be enough to push this down the throats of American taxpayers after the mega-dose of fear that has been thrown at them.

Senator Dianne Feinstein stated she received 91,000 calls and emails with 85,000 of those against the bailout bill, although she still tries to sell it by saying the people don’t understand the bailout bill…
