Obamaniacs were out in full force yesterday with reports of 100,000 to 200,000 people coming to watch Obama’s speech, in Berlin of all places, and the media loved reporting about it over and over and over again. Wall to wall media coverage of Obama’s foreign trip and the Obama media love-fest continues, while John McCain struggles to get any attention at all.
Now, I don’t think John McCain deserves MORE coverage. I just don’t think Barack Obama deserves all the coverage he’s getting.
If you look at the two candidates that remain, they are not really going to change much. With John McCain that is obvious, as he plans to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan – even for 100 years if he has to.
Barack Obama may run with the word “CHANGE” all over his campaign materials, but if you think there is going to be much change, you are mistaken.
He says he’ll withdraw troops within 16 months from Iraq, but he’ll just move them to Afghanistan. When the 16 months are up, do you think he won’t be keeping a large amount of troops in Iraq on the permanent bases that were built?
How can you believe Obama is going to change things, when he has already shown what kind of “CHANGE” you’ll get with the issue of FISA and Telecom Immunity and allowing the Bush Admin to get away with crimes?
Hey media, how about a “Dennis Kucinich trying to hold the Bush Admin accountable for their war crimes” media love-fest?
