On Countdown with Keith Olbermann (7/22/2008), Jonathan Turley talks about Barack Obama’s legal adviser Cass Sunstein’s allegations that, if elected, Obama wouldn’t hold the Bush Administration to account for the last eight years of crimes so why would Bush need to pardon the criminals anyways.
Keith Olbermann opens with, “Why on earth would President Bush go to the trouble of pre-emptively pardoning the criminals in his own administration for illegal torture and detention or illegal wiretapping against Americans, if Senator Obama’s legal advisor says Obama’s Attorney General would not prosecute those criminals anyway?”
Change? I don’t think so!
